Whilst most people understand the benefits of creativity, the struggle lies in the implementation of creative practices; time constraints, accessibility issues, imposter syndrome and too much screen time being significant obstacles. This indicates a need for people to be able to engage creatively without having to do any of the research, thinking, sourcing of materials and setting up.

The Rabbit Hole is a playful crafting café, embodying the principles of creativity and wellbeing, a place where you are encouraged to take a break from scrolling and immerse yourself in the many creative activities The Rabbit Hole has to offer. Appealing to all abilities and centred around accessibility, everything here is set up for you, with weekly special crafts to go with your coffee and regular crafting workshops taking place. The Rabbit Hole is perfect as a solo escape or as a creative way to wind down with friends.

This solution is tailored to Gen Z’s needs and experiences, tackling specific obstacles such as the thinking and planning of activities, sourcing of materials and setting up, maximising accessibility wherever possible. This space also provides a calm environment where you can connect with a community of like-minded people.

The name is based on the playful notion associated with following, exploring and becoming fully immersed in new hobbies and ideas whilst also embodying escapism, a safe space to break free from busy routines and build healthier wellbeing habits away from the all too familiar ‘doom scroll.’ TRH offers a carefully considered colour scheme appealing to Gen Z with a playfully creative aesthetic that remains approachable to all, not just artists. Alongside this, a split coffee and craft menu lists all the treats and activities to choose from based on ease and duration, making the process simple, easy and tailored to your needs each time you visit.
