Generation Z struggle to manage their feelings and underestimate the power of checking in with oneself. As a result mental health institutions are overflowed with people looking for help. Elphi is an emotional management app that gives young people a pet to build an emotional bond with and helps them keep track their emotions and possible triggers. If the user doesn’t regularly log into the app, the elephant will start getting sick as a consequence of the owner neglecting them, much like what happens when people avoid their feelings for a long time. The user can also connect with their friends and know what mood they are in.
